And also the compressor (replaced for a refurbished one) goes on (in my opinion) very often just during a short city ride.

I replaced both front air struts for refurbished, but the front still sinks after one night.

The A6 C5 allroad has a headlight height control system that is connected to the vehicle height control system (air spring system) and it works all the time. (Even if you sleep at night). This system will maintain the front and horizontal at all times. "Jack Mode" eliminates both systems. You should not play with the air connections in the valve lock and create additional leaks. For better understanding googel for SSP 243 air spring system
