Hello all. Has anyone ever lost both speakers either from left or right ? both front and rear sametime. Mine started by first losing front and rear right, then all but subwoofer behind, now I have both left front and rear, that's it. I am wondering what might be going on with my sound system. 2001 Allroad. Any ideas appreciated.

When I got my AR only the sub and one rear speaker was working. Turned out to be loose/dirty connection in the wiring plugs behind the door panels. Hit them each with a little electronic cleaner and plugged and unplugged a few times. One by one all the speakers cam back to life. Yours may be something else, but it's a free check to see if that could be the problem.

If it is not the connections on the speakers themselves it will be the sub woofer box electronics.
