Allroad 6 spd tranny swap S4 or A6
What parts need to be changed to transfer the 6 spd tranny from a S4 or A6 (2.7T) into a 2002 Allroad (6 spd)?

I'm pretty sure the A6 6spd is the same as in the allroad so you wouldn't need anything. You may need to double check that the diff is the same as the rear though.
Did your trans take a dump and that's why you need a new one?

Minimum I know off is change tranny and rear diff. Not sure of drive/prop shaft.
My symptoms:
- difficult to shift 1st and 2nd (not sure if sign of worn synchros, or burrs on collar (hence the upgrade 1-2 collar)
- signs of wear on conical bearing seat hollow shaft:

- signs of wear/pitting on shaft:

Yeah, that's about the limit of my knowledge on that stuff. I would get a hold of Scotty at Advanced Automotion (he's on Audizine) as he seems to be the resident expert on trans and diffs.
