Bought a cobalt blue 4.2! Went to a dealership to test drive a 2002 2.7 6-speed, another couple had it out for the next 30 minutes, so I took out the only 4.2 they had. Drove in S mode on a quiet interstate. Ofcourse, no lag, more than fast enough (I drove there in my 2003 Porsche 996), and lovely sound. I drove the 6 speed which is just as fast, but I'd fallen for the 4.2. In addition the 4.2 was loaded except Nav and Bose stereo. Since I will pu tin an after market stereo, it was a great choice even thoug it cost 5 Grand more (net. Incidentally, with some difiiculty, I got $2000 off list. Will pick up and lease Thursday night.
