Default allroad enthusiast test: When you see this pic what do you think?

I had my axles out so I thought I would just remove the little cover that is over top of the inner joint. With all that out say Hello to....

This only means one thing. Tell me what you think.

Default I see something that gets very hot!!

I would say it looks about normal. What does everyone else think?

Default I think I can get to those bolts (for new downpipe) without removing the...

engine and tons of other crap...

Default Yes you can do turbo's without removing the engine,

but it's not as easy as it would seem! Buy the time you undo everything you need to loosen for access, the engine is mearly sitting on a 3/4 undone subframe. And access to the upper bolts on the manifolds isn't good. I recommend lowering the subframe, undoing the engine and lifting it out. You don't have to messs with the brakes this way./

Default *ding* *ding* *ding* - pulling them out. Will pigify them while my axles are being rebuilt at

raxles.com.

I'll gut the pre-cat myself and have a local shop or a friend relocate the 02 bungs.
