Default allroad lease amount

Hi all. I am new to the board. I'm considering leasing a 2002 AR, MSRP 47,500. I'm curious what range of lease payments people have been paying. I live in upstate NY and am looking at a 3 yr 36K lease. TIA

There is a lease calculator on the Audi website.

Hi! I just signed a contract on 2002 AR w/MSRP of $43,025.00-36 months, 36 K. $2500 down; $495+ tax/month. I live in Philadelphia area.
What you need to know before starting lease negotiations is: Residual value-(58% currently),
money factor-if I remember correctly it's 5.5%,
and of course the price that you are going to pay for the car. In my case it was approximately $2500 below MSRP. The best toolthat I know of is Microsoft Excel ('97) lease calculator.
Good luck, and be well prepared.

Does Excel actually offer a lease calc. template?

Default Please explain $2,500 down

Was any of the $2,500 applied to fees, or was it all Cap Reduction?

The fee structure that the dealer quoted me when I did a preliminary leasing estimate was as follows:
US Lux Tax 200.04
Doc fee 199.00
Lic/Reg 15.45
Tire tax 5.00
Lieu Tax 687.96

Mine is on order and I still need to negotiate the final lease numbers upon delivery. The dealer says the leasing program "is what it is" depending upon current AOA information, but I want to make sure that I am educated on the specific components of the program before I arrive. Any additional information from others who have leased a 2002 would be useful.

Thanks.

Yes, and it's downloadable from Microsoft downloads- but remember, only for '97 Excel.

Hi! If you don't mind sharing, how much had you been quoted? I start feeling that maybe I'm paying too much. Actually I'm not even paying yet, mine is an order, like yours.Later!

Default Lease Program

I purchased a lease analyzer last night called Expert Lease Pro Lite for 24.95 on the following website:www.autoleasingsoftware.com. It calculates the various components of the lease and provides a quick "what if" senerio for modifications. I now have a few questions in mind for the dealer.

The particulars of my deal are: MSRP 46,670 (pretty well loaded), purchase price is MSRP less $2,450, 36 months, 15,000 miles, 58% residual, $2,500 cap reduction, and I haven't agreed upon the money factor yet, so I am using 5.5% APR. I calculate a lease of $563.89 + tax. However, the final deal will not be determined until delivery.

I hope this helps.

Question: Do dealer add-ons increase the initial cap cost (i.e. window tint, etc.)? I don't think so, but I am not sure.

I do think that dealer's add-ons will increase the cap cost. And by the way I think that 58% residual is for the 12000 mi. deal, increased annual mileage allowance will decrease the residual value, I know thaat the difference b/w 10K and 12K is one percentage point (59% for 10K).
