nice dh rig, regularly look for cracks tho, i digested one of those in a few weeks
it was the schwinn one
i am always leary of aluminum bikes and their inherent fatigue life, especially if the metal is trimmed down and subject to a lot of twising forces
to be fair, i have broken a lot of bikes (and myself) over the years
btw 225 ride hard, but not abusive

simple choice get 2 bikes, one freeride, the other xc, maybe another dh, road, commuter...
i dont follow the latest bikes out there these days so to me stumpy means stumpjumper
btw i live in excess and have ~10 bikes
feel free to hit me up, im new to the bay area so working hard on networking with fellow serious (non the leg shaving) riders

The bike collection..
The big bike:

Loads of fun racing sled but now with a 'zocchi Rocco on the rear end.
The old bike:
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/101515/big-bear-5-2004.jpg">
The old pull shock Straight 8. I've still got it 6 years later as a bike I loan out to friends who want to try the big bike descending thing. A schwinn rep looked at it and told me that it was a team issue frame that meant it has extra gusseting to mitigate the cracking issues. As a racing bike it was basically let down by the 6" rear brake.
The small bike:
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/101515/azonic_bike.jpg">
An old build up but this is the best all round bike I've owned.
The wife's bike:
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/101515/101-3.jpg">
An old Jekyl with lefty fork and cooter saddle.
Cheers
Gregor
