Allroad Throttle Lag

around 10-15k miles for vibration at 50 mph. That was cured and throttle lag, as well as shifting in general, seemed to be improved. But the lag still rears its head occasionally when least expected, though it isn't as bad as it was when new.
I've just learned to drive around it because as someone mentioned, AoA was just a PITA. We even got as far as talking with a ZF engineer who was on vacation in Australia...but we just seemed to be going in circles.
I've driven a 4.2 sedan with the ZF 5A25 and it doesn't appear to have the same problem. I'm guessing the same for the 4.2 allroad.

I have a 99 A4 2.8 with tip and I don't notice any lag. I'm in the market for an Allroad and have been looking at only the 6 speed because of all I have see about the lag issue and the 2.7. I wonder if it has to do with tranny lag and turbo lag combined. That could explain why it's not as noticable in the NA engines.
