Allroad Transmission problems?

Follow up to this long 'saga'. After my allroad sat at the dealership for 3 weeks there was still no resolution to the failed transmission issue. Dealership nor regional manager could offer no further insight as to why transmission failed. All they said was 'we never saw this happen before'. Audi Consumer Advocates were of no help - said their hands were tied and resolution was up to the Reg. Manager. Said the 75%/25% split was very fair. Ended up paying out over $1,300 to get car back. Formal complaint filed with the FTC to ensure this is not the beginning of a trend and future transmission failures for other Allroad owners. Lease on the auto is over in June and it is welcomed. Sadly, no more Audi's for me - this is my 2nd one [first was the '98 A6] and the problems, large and small, are too numerous to justify the cost of the automobile. Audi is losing yet another customer. I'll go back to either Swedish or Japanese models - more dependable to say the least. C'est la vie!
