Default Aluminium Roof Top Box for the ALLROAD

Hi,

I've noticed on LLTeks web site that they have an Aluminium Root Top box coming for the Allroad which I think would be the most awesome thing in the world if they could tell me when??? My wife and I love our Black Beauty and want to add this to it. Anyone know where else I might look for such a thing. I've seen the new Thule X1 which looks pretty cool, but a bit too big.

Thanks
JJ

Nice paintjob on the car. Did you paint the plastic bumpers silver yourself?

Boy, I hope not!! Taking a can of Rustoleum to a $45K car would just be crazy!

I just picked up cargo box from Packasport that was painted Atlas grey to match my allroad. It looks great; I mounted it on ROLA crossbars that fit between the roof rails so there is limited clearance above the roof. Measures 89" by 34" by 12" Costs about $1000 including custom color. Very well built fiberglas instead of plastic. Fairly heavy though... lead time about 6 weeks

http://www.yakima.com</a

The box is hanging from the garage ceiling right now, next time I put it on I will post a picture. The crossbars were ordered from Rola in LA. 562.776.8664 They ommitted one of the parts and had to reshop, they were a little flakey but I do like the rack. Not as strong as Yakima but much lower profile.

http://www.rola.com.au</a
