Default Valve body has seen many revisions and ultimately cured mine, but it sounds like it is on it's way
out.

Mileage? probably change the trans-fluid/filter and see if this helps...Life long fluid not true!

Default Does it drop with a "bang" when you lay on the pedal?
Mine has been doing the same thing for some time now. Additionally is tends to slip from gear to gear occasionally. Been doing these things for over 10K anyhow.
