Ive come up on a possible part out from 2004 allroad 2.7t tiptronic. The engine is spoken for and the trans "lost all gears except reverse". Is there any point in me picking this up or would I be sitting on this for the rest of eternity? I would be keeping the motor but everything else would be fair game, if someone wanted everything but the motor id ask 500$. Located in western Arizona. Sorry if this isn't the right spot for this post.

The clear coat in the hood is faded and peeling but the rest looks decent
