My car was built at the factory last week, expect delivery early November and it will come with cloth seats, "fern green".
It's only my estranged brother who drives the M class Mercedes who can afford leather.
He's the one who needs keyhole surgery to open his wallet!
The one Allroad I drove had cloth seats and were of excellent quality, seemed to be made from a durable material, but pick your colour carefully according to your usage.
As I'm a part time farmer, waterproof seat covers (TP) will be fitted to the front seats of my car most of the time.
Will post pictures when the time comes.

very high quality, but there's a caveat: the plaid extends to the insides of the doors. I hadn't thought of that when I ordered, and it was a bit of a shock -- it makes the interior look sooo German. I don't even notice it any more, though, and as a bonus, the ride is quieter; I wouldn't have known, since my last test drive was three months before the car arrived, but my salesman has driven the car a few times and has commented on it every time. I suppose it's because the cloth absorbs sound, as opposed to the leather, which I guess would be more reflective.
I'll see if I can get a couple of good photos and post them in the next day or two.
