Default for reference.. sotck 2.7 6mt on the back straight of VIR...
I was hitting about 115-120 mph.

Based on a 1/4 at 95, I'd say 115 too.

Default I told you to take my car ;-)......140+ but you have to get the Oak Tree exit (Turn 12) right ;-)
BTW, going at that speed towards turn 14 w/o big brakes - ummmmmpossible ;-) You'd have to apply the brakes way to soon......takes the fun away ;-)

There was a lot of power left just not enough straight road.

Default Re: I think BIR's straight is a bit longer than 1/2 mile, I observed 125+
Since this was my first time I would let off the throttle a bit early. Just didn't have the nerve to stay out it until it was time to brake. Those of you with more experience would love BIR. Turn 1 is slightly banked and designed for speed. I entered around 115 and came out 120+ on my last run.
