Anybody else's car missing trim strip along top edge of windshield after new glass?
Hi Everyone. I just had a new windshield installed today. There is no trim piece along the top edge. Instead, there is now a u-shaped channel. The installer told me that particular brand of glass uses an inverted piece of rubber. Is this BS -- maybe he ripped the old trim and doesn't want to replace it? Does anyone else have no trim at the top edge of the windshield? Thanks
