Default I know, that is pretty annoying isn't it?

If you want to, pressure the dealer for the money back. Have you gotten anywhere already with them?

Default well the people I know at the dealer are telling me to call AOA

I think money back for the option (hell they can even remove it if they want to) would be appropriate.

Default The road (eh, hm) ahead...

I had two separate issues that needed repair 3 times each...I knew the dealership really well and had a great reputation, especially with the sales guys...I also had a contact at AOA...

Still, I had to email Audi 5+ times, bug the dealer 3+ times and finally threaten the dealer AND Audi by letter that I would go out of my way to discourage my friends and collegues from buying Audis or VWs from the dealer OR buying Audis at all...they finally bought it back...without buying another Audi or VW. (I bought a subaru and drove that till the '04 were being cleared from showrooms for the '05s.) If you are in CA, you can use the lemon-law to back you up...but you still have a battle on your hands...AND it looks like you are in AZ.

Default heh yeah I read your other post. I know it takes a lot

I've often considered subaru, just because this thing is a damn expensive car. I don't think I would push a buyback for this, but I'd like something for my lost time and money on this expensive option. It was something that came with the car as the only 4.2 sold in Arizona at that time.

Anyway.. thanks for the info!

Default Mine never worked, they tried but failed to fix it.

So I turn it off. I thought it may be interfering with the bluetooth GPS receiver but it didn't seem to be the case.

Anyway, it's off for good now.

Default looks like most people have problems with it, anyone know how to disable it perminately?

When I turn it off I get that stupid message that tells me that the TPMS system is off and beeps at me. What's strange is that it only does this every so often and not every time. Weird?

Default My another experence, the coding defines the MIN. & MAX. valid tire pressure.

You should check the meassuring block to see the actual pressures which the senors dectected.

Default I'm a little confused, what does that coding do?

I have actually looked at the pressures in the VAG and it appears to be getting a signal. In fact if I "set tire pressures" it will actually "work" for about a day or more before I get the flat tire with a line through indicating that the system is malfunctioning.

Default My coding is 22327. My tire pressure must be between 2.2 bar and 2.7bar, otherwise it always shows "

check the tire pressure" after I "set tire pressures".
Is there any fault codes in your TPMS ?
Do you ever try the adaptation channel 17 value 1 to check if the antennas are OK ?
