Go figure. I researched the brakes to death. Ecodetuning.com had the stage 2 Stoptech package listed with AXXIS pads and I went for it.

I received the cartons yesterday and inside were the Stoptechs and SS lines and Brake fluid. The Axxis pads were not there, but Posi Quiet Semi- Metallic Brake Pads were.

I e-mailed Ecode and being they are in California, I won't hear back for a few hours yet.

But.. are they an equal or even better pads? My gut tells me no.. Anyone have a clue?

grip was poor, No dusting, but no stopping either. I used to use them for a while on all my customers as thats what my supplier had. I had too many complaints about poor stopping particularly when cold. They are not cheap pads,in this are they are the same or more than other brands. They last forever.I now use, Monroe or Wagner!, on no critical applications.

I suppose I'll push for the Axxis pads then.

and never had any problems etc.... My experience, with more than "one car", with those pads has been less than ecncouraging. I don't use them anymore. YMWV.
