It's not planned for production, so i doubt it, it was just a concept car.

Iread that this was and perhaps still is planned for real. Of course I read it at the same time that I read that the allroad would be dropped, a true SUV added, etc.

What we really need is another SUV (not) -- in one man's opinion. The allroad is special, but if they can't sell them and they bring out an A6 2.7T and an S6 Avant and an A4 based allroad, perhaps they feel they can gain market share with a true SUV. Those BMW's are everywhere, Ditto Mercedes -- nary an allroad or Volvo SUV hybrids anywhere.

Of course, to me that is part of the appeal.

I should have mine in 3 or 4 days it is getting the pait treatment now!

Check out the wheels. They are identical looking right down to hub rotation and brake caliper location. Someone doctored a picture of a standard A4 Avant to give it the allroad treatment.

It's an A4 based allroad, and it actually may end up in production. This one is a 2.8 turbo diesel version, and the license plate, starting with IN means its and Ingolstadt based vehicle.
