Anyone running 255/50/17 on stock rims?

Default I run a 245/45-17 on my stock rims...

with Sumitomo all season tires. They work really fine much better then the P6. I am going to 255/40 Conti's next summer on 18 x 8.5 rim. you can see I prefer low aspect ratio tires for their crisper handling. I did get a couple of minor bends in my one 18 wheel with the 245/40 I ran last summer. I have to get them fixed before I mount my new tire.

Default yes, Pirelli Scorpion Zero's with no rubbing problems even on the lowest setting.

Default more sidewall roll over....or having to run huge pressure to prevent it......

all depends on what your expectations are, if you drive in a straight line most of the time and having any kind of decent turn in isn't a concern then 255's on a 7.5" rim should be fine.
