Default Anyone used Ferodo pads and discs?

Got a mate who can get hold of Ferodo brake parts, but not heard much of them for a few years so wondered if they are still at the top of the game (i.e. how do they compare to EBC etc.?)?

Looking at about £250 for pads and discs all round, does that sound like a decent deal to you guys (considering parts seem to just be more expensive over here in the UK!!)?

Cheers

Default I have them on my S4

which come w/ the Brembo big brake kit. They are superior in terms of performance & stopping power. I've also been very impressed with the low amount of brake dust. Just make sure you get the right pads for the street because they have some track pads which may be a bit too aggressive for daily driving.
And yes, 250GBP is a good price...that's just about how much pads alone on mine cost.

Default I just put some Ferodo pads on with my Alcons/Stasis Rotors.

the Stasis rear setup for the audi already came with Ferodo pads.

After two weeks with these I am happy.

Default Ferodo 2500's w/ stoptech 332 kit here

i recently installed the 332 stoptech front kit on my 02 allroad. It came with the Ferodo 2500 series pads.

The braking is fantastic once they are warmed up, but it took me awhile to get used to them when cold.

There is a very noticeable difference between cold/warm stopping power. So much so that first when I got them, I was considering going with a different pad.

The best way I can describe it is when i'm driving from my buildings under ground parking (4 levels down), @ say 10-20 km/h it'll take a few extra feet to stop. Also, if I STOMP the brakes during this drive, the brakes do not have the initial bike to instantly stop the car. It'll take a foot or 2 before it actually comes to a stop.

Now lets say i'm returning home after driving, the exact same test, driving back to my parking spot, the brakes are warmed up, and I can stop on a dime, and give back change

Hope this helps!

Cheers,

Jeff

Default Have them on my alcons front and rear

After a year, no complaints. Silent, and dust is not so bad at all. Smooth stopping pad at any temp.
