Default APR Bi-Pipe install update... No air gap between hose and pinch weld as initially suspected :(

There was no way around it, I had to loosen the bumper cover to get the headlights out. With the cover loose, the lights poped right out with ease. Although it initially looked like and even felt like there was, with the headlights out I was able to confirm there really is not.

I would really prefer to avoid cutting/grinding that area down. I tried folding it over with an air hammer but its much harder than I expected.

Wonder if I did the 3/8 rubber fuel line over the seam if and how long it would take to rub through. If it would eventually rub through, it would defeat the purpose of the bi-pipe (reliability).

The Samco and even the OEM TBB are looking pretty appealing to me right now!

Rubber on silicone should wear pretty slow if you even get any wear.
