Hope you could help. I have problem with my A3 2008 Radio (Concert). I have looked through this and other forums, but was unable to find the resolution to my problem.
After I start the engine my radio buttons (AND steering wheel buttons) will not work. Radio plays the channel and I hear the sound, but can't adjust volume, switch between AM/FM, etc.
All buttons will start working after press Reverse (Previous station) button.
This is very annoying.
I have tried steps below and still experiencing the problem.
1) Replacing fuse in the back of the radio
2) Check all fuses (under the hood and driver's side box )
3) Take off the radio and have it sit 10 min unplugged
4) Unplug car battery for 10 min.
Haven't found a solution. I found a guy in Europe who makes a board that you can solder to fix the radio, but it's not compatible with my model. So I'll just be replacing it.
