I used to post here when we first got our 6SP Allroad but sadly dropped out of sight. Well the time has come to sell her and I am seeking advice. First of all it sure seems KBB lowballs the asking price, am I right here? I know we paid higher than KBB strictly because it was a 6SP. Specifically what we have is: '04 6SP Atlas Grey 2nd owner, right around 44k miles, maintained meticulously (for example: my husband is a german car enthusiast to say the least, that being said he even went so far as to track down the factory fill oil [Pentosin] and has strictly been using that in the car), it has never been hit, clean title, etc......KBB suggests 18K, seems low to ask am I right? The other reason I am posting here is because we really want this car to go to an enthusiast and being in the Seattle area we figure someone would welcome being able to buy a 6MT on the west coast. We are not quite ready to sell her yet, hubby is trying to get the new engine in our Vanagon first and I need the AR to drive until that is done. So yeah, didn't really mean for this to be an essay, sorry about that. I appreciate any input on selling our AR, Cheers! Ashley

Market is really bad for larger cars. 6mt is only desirable to certain class of owners. I would try for 19,999.00 and advertise far and wide.

That's based on a 2.7 engine, and Outstanding Condition adjustment and positive Regional Adjustment ($40). 6MT has no appraisal value that I can find.
Good luck.
Good luck.

an 03, 04 and 05... all under $20k all in decent shape, 2 fully loaded and all 60k or less miles the 04 had 44k on it.
I will be ready in about 8 weeks to pick one up so I'm doing the prelims - if your car is still around then let me know.
Not sure what I'm going to do with my current AR yet. The devil you know!
