bent ride height sensor bracket

Just picked up my car after having it looked at for it's sagging left rear suspension. Left was 2" below the right side, and suspension warning light came on when changing levels. While I feared a hole in the airbag, or at least a faulty ride height sensor, those were not the issue. the bracket that holds the ride height sensor had been bent. The dealer straighened it, and re-ailiged it properly, now everything seems to work properly.
No one knows how it got bent - I wasn't doing any off roading, or even any hard/spirited driving. Anyone else seen this happen?

then bent itself over the weekend. It has been 55-70 and sunny here for a couple of weeks now. (Until today - snowing again now)

Hmmm... you could say that a hard piece if snow or ice moved the sensor when the car either hit a bump or you lowered the suspension and then raised it back. Then, upon another lowering after the ice melted... the offending bracket..slightly off the mark, got snagged on the way down and emitted the fault.
