The Bilstein Clunk
Both front Bilsteins are now clunking. My indy had to speak to Mr. Arnott and he has agreed to take back the Bilsteins. I am going to have OEM Audi shocks installed.
Has anyone else been able to come to a resolution with the Bilstein Clunk that may be helpful for others?

This may or may not be relevant. I have no clunking. When I picked up my car after the install, my indy said that Arnott did not include lock-nuts with the kit and they are required. Is it possible that this is the cause of the issue you are experiencing?

I hope your indy installed proper lock-nuts despite the fact that they were not included?

Lock nuts are securing the shock from top and are different from normal nut in that they have a poly insert so it is harder for them to undo themselves. They would have nothing to do with the clunk.

I have the same problem. From day one after installing Arnott Gen2 with Bilsteins I get a clunk in the front over any speed bump or pothole?
Did a complete front end rebuild and no change.
