Bits of foam coming from AC/Heating vents????

same thing happened to me - luckily my 03 is under CPO still - the audi tech acted like he had never seen the problem before - but yes, it was traced back to the heater filter - and they replaced it. HOWEVER, they had to pull the entire dash assembly to fix it.

I have the same bits of grey foam coming out of my vents. I also must have a blockage somewhere because if I turn the heat up to high, the ABS and suspension lights come on. Once I turn the heat down and after a re-start of the car, the lights are gone. I also have the squeaky fan on low speed. Do I need to pull the fan to clean out the HVAC venting system or what is the best way to clean?
