Yep, I'm still here - going on 11 years.
Anyway, the brake pedal on my '04 allroad clicks once each time I depress the pedal to slow down or come to a stop. My mechanic checked out the system and says nothing is wrong. Anyone have any ideas as to what the problem might be?
Thanks, Mark (JimmyRayClapton)

I have this same issue on an '06 Allroad 2.7 TDI quattro. Brought it to the stealers and they say nothing is wrong (probably because it is under warranty and they don't want to fix). Then brought it to an indie mechanic and he said it's the front top arm bushings. It seems they are worn but the bushing is not sold separately so you have to buy the whole arms. Both sides are worn on mine. 500 + bucks estimate + labour.
