Shopping the next set. I'll stay with the ECS slotted or perhaps the Blau orbital slot to avoid the thrumming sound.

They're simply too soft. The leave way too much pad spooge on the rotor in just general driving and we all know what happens when you get piles of pad spooge on the rotors - like riding a bucking bronco every time you hit the brakes.
I made that mistake. I have Hawks on my BMW and at first opportunity I'm putting them on the allroad. Nice balance of initial bite and linear feel. Low dust and quiet, too.
