Whilst doing the CV boots today, noted that one of the front brake wear sensor cables has sheared off. Whats the best course of action, can you buy the cable complete and replace - i.e. does it connect at both ends or is it harwired into the loom internally? or does it need to be chopped onto some new wiring to the connector on the pads??

is it on the side of the pads? Is it on the connector? Is the connector gone? Do you have the brake warning light on your dash showing?
In any case you can simply twist together one wire from the car to one wire from the brake pad, and do the same with the second wire then tape them securly with electical tape. Its a simple circut like a fuse. With the fuse element inside the brake pad.

Brake warning light is on, but then again the pads and discs are worn so that about tied in with that really!
Didn't have a really good look, but coming from the loom side, it has sheared off short of the pads, and looks like two wires in there. Didn't look for the pad end to see how that looked.
Sounds like I can do a simple fix then, thanks for the input.
