Buying allroad off lease
Hey folks. It looks like I'm buying my ar at lease expiration. The buyback is appx $25K. Assuming it's negotiable (looking for dealer to CPO it also) do I call AOA directly or do I contact the dealer? Also, how close to lease end do I begin the negotiations? As always, thanks.

When I did it, I called Audi Finance directly and they made me a sweet deal

I did the same back in June.....
I went directly through AFS. There was little movement on the buyout, but they offered 2.9 financing, gave me $500 on an AMEX gift card, and threw in a 36/36 pure protection warranty at no charge (over $3000 value).
I tried my dealer and they were offered a lower price to buy the car but it was only $3000. So by the time I factored in the cost of the warranty it was a wash. And the 2.9 was a lot better than the 6.9 the dealer offered.
But the big caveat is that AFS will only offer it's best deals when you're within 1 month of lease termination. (Got that from an old friend who used to be with AFS.)
