Default Cam chain tensioner. Do you have to take off the timing belt?

Has anyone done theirs yet? I was wondering if the timing belt needs to come off or if you can finagle the tensioner out without taking off the timing belt.

Default the tensioner itself, or just the gasket?

if the entire tensioner, i'm pretty sure you have to pull the cams, which would mean removing the TB. If just the seals/gaskets, then you should be able to do those w/out removing the TB.

Default The tensioner. Audi tech at dealer said no.

So have some people. I'm going to go at it in a few weeks. I'll report back.
