Default Car ramps for Oil changes, etc?

After my first oil change with the new car, it seemed a bit tricky to find a good place to position the jack and then replace it with the jackstand. So I was wondering about the good old car ramps and how easy that would be for doing simple maintenance under the vehicle for anything not requiring removal of the wheels. Has anyone tried this? I suppose 'jack-mode' would not be required. Will it monkey with the auto leveling feature?

Just curious how others are doing it.

Default Its a hoot to do and look at...

you ge the feeling as you go on the ramps that the car should not move in this direction...vertical and forward without an incline angle. I did this when I installed the DTS.

About the only maint you can't do on ramps is replacing the inevitable air strut.

I use the plastic rino ramps, they work great for oil changes and cleaning/inspecting...
