Default Check Engine Light experience

I called the folks who chipped my car (flash GIAC done by Curry's in Sep 04) and told them I had a light on the dash. They said bring it to them before I take it to the dealer. They found a coolant sensor error code and said to take it to the dealer. The reason I took it to them prior to the dealer is I didn't want the dealer to find some code that would require blasting new code to the ECU.

I took it to the dealer (Alexandria, VA) who found the same code even though the light had gone out. They replaced the sensor under warranty in 30 minutes, gave my car a quick wash and off I went.
