just tethered a new britax marathon car seat in the wife's MPV, and decided to go this route with the recaro signo in my AR. just tried it, but can't find tether rings in the lower back seats... u gotta be kidding! i'm quite certain tethering will be a more secure route for a child seat than using the shoulder belts, but can't even find an anchor at the top or back side of rear seat either.
i'd be very surprised if audi overlooked this on the AR, but i'm not having any luck finding these!
please help if i'm missing something!!!!!!

Older allroads do not have latch anchors. Audi had a free campaign to retrofit the allroads without latch. Check with your dealer.

called the parts department and the guy said he recalled this a while back, but it had been discontinued. do any of u know any differently? seems appalling that would overlook this, especially on an avant/wagon model!

You're awesome. We just got our first baby and I was almost disgusted that my AR doesn't have latches at all... This will save me some headaches and worries.
