Default If yo uare talking about the LATCH system......

then this should be a free retrofit from Audi. As you point out they do care about the safety image of their cars and as such they will add it on their nickel. If a dealer told you otherwise they are trying to take you for some extra $$$$$.

Audi of Scottsdale in AZ fitted mine for free and I think others have had the same experience.

Cheers
Gregor

Default Have the latches...outboard only installed it is required it's just that many didn't come in that

way...your dealer has to do it for free.

Default If a child seat is rear facing, it is also (or should be) reclined as far as it will go. In this...

position, the edge of the child seat will be far enough up the center armrest so as to prevent it moving at all.

Default The top latches on the ar have to go on the floor of the back due to the seat

back reclining and they are pretty hard to affix a car seat to...you have to let the top anchor strap out all the way and it's really tight.

Default Mighty-tite is the best $15 a parent can spend. It makes it so...

easy to quickly and tightly install a seat without having to climb into the car and kneel/wrestle with it. This convenience is exponentially higher if you frequently trade your seats between your and your spouse's vehicles, or if you frequently travel with your car seat and put it in rental cars.

Yes, call AoA - free! I have the foam support under rear seat pics on my poster, BTW.

Default A section of pool noodle works perfectly for this, as it is just the right size and minimally...

compressible.
