Default 12.8 over the last four tanks. And it's reading .4 mpg higher than actual.

Off course I only got 6k out of a set of SO3s. Something about that Honda commercial with the guy born with the lead foot seems vaguely familiar.

I have 20K on my AR. and while the computer on the dash says 21-22, I've been consistently getting 20 MPG on 93 and 94 Oct Sunoco at fill up. OK I have a 6 speed. but I am a very agressive driver. Nassua County Long Island to ElLizabeth NJ everyday and back. The George washington Bridge, NJ Turnpike... Valentine 1 at the ready...
I want to chip it with APR, but I'm waiting for the F1 Wranglers to wear out first...

Thinner air -- lower drag at same speed

I put an APR chip and a K&N air filter in my 2001 allroad at about 60,000 miles and went from an average of 18.5 mpg to about 21.0 mpg with an incredible performance gain. Just traded it in mid October for a 2004 and really miss the extra "ooomph". Took the chip out before I traded it in (won't work in my 2004).
What year is your allroad? If it's a 2001 with Tiptronic my old chip will probably work. I highly recommend it.
