Does anyone have some tips for the Arnott Coil Spring Conversion Install? I'll be starting (and hopefully finishing) it Saturday. I've been searching but I can't find any instructions. I know they send some with it but I like to go over them to get an idea.
Also, I'm assuming I can take off the air compressor, reservoir, sensors, and lines?
Thanks for any help.

Looks like Arnott uses the same upper spring hats that the airbags use, so you can bolt it right in. You don't need to do a damn thing lol, just pop the bags out and pop those suckers in.

To convert to springs in general, it's still really really really easy. You will only need to drill a couple holes in your upper control arm bracket.

When installing non-Arnott coilovers, caution must be exercised. While it's true that A6 Avant coilovers can be mounted to the AR (such as from H&R), the AR will sit too low with those coilovers.
To compensate by simply adjusting the coilovers into the upper range is not a good solution if you go beyond the specs from H&R (and you almost certainly will run out of specs if you adjust the AR to a civilized non-slammed height).
There is the danger of topping/bottoming out in such a set up.
Got off a call with H&R tech. He suggested to custom fabricate sleeves to go with the H&R setup, otherwise it may not work as desired. Makes sense.

However, if H&R coilovers work just fine at OEM A6 height, and you're not interested in a monster truck allroad, you won't have an issue - it'll be well within their operating range.
