Default Coil over people: Has anyone tried coding their ECU to an A6 instead of the ar?

Maybe be an easy fix to not have the ECU look for the suspension module.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/allroad/msgs/246311.phtml">same thought</a></li></ul>

Default Yes, on an '03' BEL w/a VAG under coding...

(I vaguely remember on the VAG how to get there, but I verified the specific code this AM). With a VAG go to coding under suspension allroad w/ASR post switch stage low range manual transmission; coding is 07715 for an '03' allroad w/BEL engine. Code for an A6 2.7t manual trans. w/ESP BEL engine is 07712. Change the 5 to a 2.

Does anyone have a VAG they can look at to verify the steps to reach this five digit code?

Default So if you used the procedure from here, but instead coded your last number

from a 5 designated for allroad to a 2 designated for an a6 it "should" no longer look for the suspension module, and it can probably be unplugged so it is no longer trying to communicate with the ECU and instrument cluster.

It may not hurt to re-code the instrument cluster to an a6 as well...

Also remember to save your old coding values just in case you should want to or have to return the car to stock...<ul><li><a href="http://s4wiki.com/wiki/Engine_recode">engine recode</a></li></ul>

Default Good point...what coil over set up are you going with?

No need to re-code the inst. clust. everything will work fine after you change the 5 to a 2 - including your ESP.
