Yes, I am well aware that "each cylinder has its own ignition coil". I implied as much in my posts. Plus, hanging around these forums for a few years and it is hard not to know about that. This is also pretty clear from my Bentley manual.
Yes, they should be "relatively easy to replace". Basically, Remove electrical connector, lift firmly and carefully out. Replace. My question here, is what is the best, safe, or recommended way of moving the hoses and other stuff that are in the way of replacing them.
But, no. "They don't cost around $170. each" ECS Tuning, for example sells them for around $45-55, and I've seen them from some sources for about $25-30 each (depending on model year).
