Comfort of seats?

I have been looking at the A6 2.7T for a while and although I did like the sport seats my tired old a#$ really appreciates the excellent comfort of the standard seats. I need good under thigh support (long legs below the knees). I'm just finishing up a 10 year stint in a car with less than stellar seats. I really like the allroad but it does seem to me that the seats are firmer and not quite as comfortable as those in the sedan. So I'm wondering what people think about them on long drives? There seem to be several former as well as combination sedan/allroad owners on this board and I'd really be interersted in their thoughts?

Had an A62.8Q with sports seat before I traded it in for the allroad. The A6's seats sometimes gave me backache but none so far in the allroad, and it is definitely softer than the sport seats.
