Comparison in Snow
We just got a foot of snow here in Anchorage and it is still coming down. I drove my 03 Allroad right up my very steep, long driveway thru 11 inches of fresh snow. The Allroad was in the highest suspension setting wearing Bridgestone Blizzaks. It zipped right up with only the slightest wallow. My wife's 99 A6 Avant only made it up after some serious shoveling. My next door neighbor, with a comparably steep driveway, couldn't make it after three tries in his MB ML 320. Allroads are the way to go in Alaska.
