This gives me a few months to figure out the financing. It won't be cheap , probably starting around $35-$38K for a Premium version.
As many suspected, Audi will no longer offer the A4 Avant starting next year when the facelifted versions are due Stateside. Instead the A4 allroad will replace it to become the only wagon offering in the US. (Stupid Audi is no longer bringing in the A6 Avant either)

Nice looking, but too bad on several fronts like; no air suspension, it's not an A6 platform so it's too small, we probably won't get the manual gearbox and/or the diesel.
Nice looking, though.

+1 - only reason I didn't buy the A4 avant was the back seat. Way too small for my three kids.

the new allroad is a failure before it even hits the ground. It's an Avant with extra condom rubber cladding and no extra guff. It's got the same slowtronic 8 speed auto, no manual, no s-tronic, and it carried the same 2.0T engine the baseline A4's carry. Audi had the opportunity to bring this car over with an S-tronic (or a STICK!!) and the 272 hp 3.0T engine (or the 3.0TDI) and actually offer something different. They'd rather turn this into a case study about how to keep people from buying wagons.

soo dissapointed in audi for ruining the allroad name. besides the dwindling, or lack of, market for the original ar, they could have brought to the table a better version of the original. I know I could have been a great guinea pig or test driver, because I've had my '01 ar through the ringer and she always wants more. A great way to find out what a car is lacking...fun too.
