My antenna mast is missing part of the rubber around the bottom part, and I'd like to replace it - with a shorter mast if possible. Which masts fit?? I bought one thinking it was right, but it was the standard VW/Audi thread size, and I guess this one is bigger?

I've searched but can't seem to find a definitive answer.

Thanks!

Default I remember a meeting of 2-2001 allroads, and 1-2002 allroad where all the threads for antennas were

different. You should really get a proper reading of threads using a gauge, and go from there.

Also went with Honda S2000 antenna on '03 allroad; only cost about $20.

Do you have the GPS puck style base like I do - like the picture in my first post?

Default It is the similar year Jetta with the "puck" that fits. About 1/2 the price of the Audi part.

None of the cheaper alternatives will fit the bigger threads (believe me I tried). You will need to spend some time with the VW parts guy but it is worth the ~$40 savings.
