I haven't owned any B9 long enough to know about any real issues with them. My previous car was a 2021 A4. The one before that was a B8 (2010 Avant). The engine was replaced at 80k miles for (you guessed it) oil consumption issues. The only other issue that car had was the steering rack at about 100k miles.
It's an Audi warranty. It's known as CPO (certified pre owned) and adds 20 000km warranty on the car for 1 year. I was reading about the oil burning and from what I am reading, that affected A4s until 2017. (I'm having a hell of a time figuring out the engine codes on the Allroad)

Thanks for sharing for the 2010. Really seems like odd things break on Audis. Never heard of a car breaking a rack on another car...but this is the second time I hear of an Audi needing a rack.

For the record, the rack on the 2010 didn't break. It started leaking power steering fluid. In diagnosing the leak, Audi said the rack needed to be replaced.

Unless I completely misunderstand, the Audi Canada CPO warranty (1 year and 20km) commences the day after the manufacturer’s warranty expires - not from the date you purchase the vehicle!

From all I’ve been told it’s 20k more than the existing or 100k (80k+20k, whichever comes last)

The best thing to do is to read the contract. I can guarantee it will be explicitly stated in there.
