Default 3rd -- you always see big advertisements for the wiing porducts in the magazine

question is does the advertiser sign up before or after the evaluations? I say conspiracy.

Default I use their advice to influence my appliance purchases...but my car isn't an appliance

And why an appliance-like Accord or Camry (fill in the blank) won't be in my future. Too passionate about autos for them to be like my fellow engineers; boring, stiff, efficient, and lacking soul. BTDT...yawn.

And I'm kidding. Kind of.

Summer = Michelin. I think not. They build race tires but recommend you don't use them. (USGP) :P

Default Alignment.

I understand from previous comments that you have yours set once a year. I can't comment about the others.

I had a wheel out of alignment when I first put 512's on. It ate the tyre in about 5K. With the soft compound on the shoulders the old 512's seemed to be sensitive to everything running straight and true.

I'm now runnign 912s which seem a better tyre.

Cheers
Gregor

Default Gosh and some of my best friends (family, spouse, fill in the blank) are...

engineers...pocket protectors and all...but I still agree on the CR non research issue...they have been found to have flawed tests way to many times for me to believe them and they are wrong on appliances too

Default Then I either got a dud set of Kumho ASX's or you folks do different driving than I do....

I think they are adequate on dry, lousy in the rain and dangerous in the snow....I have put about 20k on them and they are about shot too...I have a warranty but I think I'll just switch.

Default Read the article in this months issue, more than a list, the first 2

do poor in snow & wear quickly. Also, load capacity is not part of the data. Oh, & there is no advertising in the CR magazine. ( FWIW, they rated Wing products ladder poorly.) Finally, the A6 rated very well in this issue.
