Those pirellis are low quality farm-implement tires. I wouldn't even put them on a mobile home.
I had a set years ago, and was impressed at the way they were equally worthless regardless of season or road conditions. Actually, they did have decent hydroplane resistance, but that was it.
Wheels look nice, though, and will be even nicer with the spacers and the right tires!

The way I looked at this deal was as if the tires were free. I'll be looking to replace the Pirellis soon enough.

You're better off with the Pilot Sports. I would recommend putting some V rated Nokian WRs on the stock rims for winter use. They are technically all seasons, so you don't have to worry about burning them up if the temps get above 60, but they have great snow and ice traction. We have used them on the allroad and they have done quite well in all conditions as a year round tire from southern MD to Maine.
