Assuming all things are equal what is better a car with a 100k extended warranty or a CPO from the dealer.
Does one provide you better coverage then the other?...thanks

they are all insurance policies. Even CPO or Audi Assured or ABC Warranty co. They all have rules, limes, costs and deductibles. So like any insurance policy..read the fine print befor you buy.
Forget about dealer CPO inspections..GENERALLY they are bogus. So in all cases its up to you to inspect the car and request certain things to be fixed prior to sale.
The advantage of CPO is that the dealer service people know how to use it. Any other plan you need to ask around "how do they pay?, Do they argue charges...?" etc.

Like PR said, got to read. Buy the car, not the CPO unless it's free. If the money is equal, generally you can have longer coverage time with extended. If you buy private party, you can buy an extended service contract and still fall under retail dealer CPO car cost. What mileage on the car, what budget you got, how many miles and years you planning to do, do you plan to MOD? And so on. Happy to help with comparative cost info if I can.
