Default Darn!! After returning home from a visit to petro store, I noticed the strange noise

being emitted from the engine bay. Sounds like the timing is off or a tensioner has gone bad or worse. It'll probably be expensive to fix. Vagcom code below.

17927 - Camshaft Adjustment; Bank 1: Malfunction

Any troubleshooting suggestions?

Default Check block 91 But it probabl says Not OK

VVT =$600 or so. And get someone who KNOWS what they are doing, as I have an A6 now that soemone tried to replace VVT installed 1 pin off and ate the valves.
