Hmmm ... Audi dealer nearby has the 2013 Allroad at nearly $48K. If only they put the 3.0 supercharged engine in it !
I will be able to check this new Allroad this saturday when I have my A6 Avant serviced. But my A6 Avant is paid for and still drives like new, so I'll keep it a few more years.

Are you going to try to grab a test drive in it? Please tell us what you think of the 'car'. It sure looks alot like the new VW to me.
My 2001 was about that price new too (all loaded up) ! LOL

what sucks about the new wagons is the agressive roof line of the rear. It takes half of the cargo room away. I need all the room I can get with my Mastiff.

No more problematic air suspension system the guy stats in last few moments of video. . . Yeah, ok plenty of allroad owners have deleted that set up for a lot less than the $48k asking for this vehicle. Im not so sure about the size of it, looks rather small to me; especially the rear cargo area. Also, I'm pretty sure this new allroad won't have similar towing capacity as previous version. So lots of neutering has taken place in this new version which might equal attraction from current allroad owners. I like allroads, I like them for their capabilities; I'm not seeing that here.

Audi would never bring new A6 allroad to the states, not gonna happen as it would be very very costly for the low volume vehicle it is. How costly? I'd guess somewhere between $70k - $80k depending on options; though most current allroad owners wouldn't be interested unless cost was closer to $55 - $60k max.

Wow! the new allroad is stunning and gorgeous. I saw it yesterday and sat on it, but did not test drive it. The interior reminds me of my S5. My wife said "if you test drive it, better take it home." haha. It is definitely smaller than my A6 Avant, which is about the size of the 2001-2005 Allroad. It does NOT have the baggage rail system, which I had expected. the backseat is good enough but not as spacious as the A6 Avant or original AR.
If you ask me, the new Allroad is the most beautiful car of all the new facelifted Audis with the body trimming (which I don't think should be off-roaded). The clients at the dealer were all eyes on the Allroad, while the new face-lifted S5 on the parking lot did NOT get any attention.
I have to go back to the dealer on Tuesday, because their technician was absent and did not service my A6 Avant, so that's why we just left. So I think I will test drive it on Tuesday, while waiting for my Avant to be serviced.
Yes, I remember getting my 2003 AR at around $44K, but sticker price was near $48K.
Doing a Autotrader search, ALL dealers are getting the same AR showroom model (same price, moonsoon gray color just like the brochure, with Navigation).
