If you go to a dealer with a complaint under warranty and after checking it comes back with "working to factory specs" dignosis do they not get paid from Audi for the time they spent on looking into the issue? I am just wondering since the local dealer does not seem eager to find the source of the noise (rattle from underneath when turing engine off when hot). They just keep telling me that its not serious and to come back when the noise is more obvious.

The words serious have nothing to do with this. The noise exists.. you need to take a drive with the REPAIR PERSON, not the writer and say "Hear that noise?"....

Is what you hear a rattle? or it sounds like rain drops falling on a tin can?
